Hi everyone,
This week I would like to expose you to cool
tools and sites that can help your students improve their speaking and writing.
1. Voice Thread - using this tool, your
students will be able to share and discuss. The great thing is that they have
five commenting options: microphone, webcam, text, phone, and audio-file
upload. It's perfect for them to practice their English!
2. Graphic Organizers - This site contains
many Graphic organizer worksheets that can help your students "organize
their thoughts" before they start writing. They can find there the best
Graphic organizer for them, according to what they want to write.
3. The spelling bee – This is the most useable
site I found that deals with spelling. I love the fact that you can choose the
right level for you (from first to twelves grade). The students can hear the
words as many as they want to, and then spell the missing words. Try it now! J
4. Story jumper – This site gives teachers and students a fun set of
intuitive tools for writing stories. It's good for students who want to write but
don't know how or where to start.
5. Printing press – using this site, your students
can write a newspaper, flyer, poster and etc. They can practice their writing
and then share it via email, or even print it and present it to class.
